Meet the Team
The Silver Room Restaurant was founded by two life long friends Maciej and Wojtek in February 2017. Maciej and Wojtek have known each other for over two decades. Both starting theirs hospitality careers in Poland, before moving to Ireland and graduating from Hospitality and Culinary College in 2000.
Prior to opening The Silver Room Restaurant both Maciej and Wojtek perfected their skills managing The Woodlands House Hotel with a combined 20 years experience. The Silver Room Restaurant has expanded into a family run business.
They have a deep lying passion for the hospitality industry and strive to continue to satisfy customers using local produce and creative recipes.
The Silver Room Restaurant won RAI - Best Newcomer Restaurant Award in Munster, Limerick in 2018.
In 2019 Restaurant was a shortlisted finalist in YesChef Magazine Awards in few categories.

I wrote the following as a comment on their Facebook page ... "Just cannot say enough about this place and the people who run it.... the food is fantastic ... ... I am hard to please when dining out... but I would dine in the Silver Room several times a week ... (and I have some weeks) .... well done lads and wishing ye continued success.... !" ..... but it really does not do justice .... constantly excellent food and service !!!! I would heartily recommend!!!!!!!!

I am very picky with my food, but this restaurant exceed my expectation. Food was fabulous. High standard customer service. High recommended!
Girls night out
Just home from a fabulous meal with some fabulous company. New menu and we were all very happy with it. Staff are excellent and really friendly and helpful. I would be happy to recommend and looking forward to our next night out.
Amazing restaurant, food and service
A lovely family owned restaurant with the most delicious food and such amazing service. A definite must visit in Newcastle West, and actually Ireland as a whole!
A Great Experience
On our trip in to Newcastle West our B&B gave us this recommendation. It was by far our best dining experience of the trip. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Along with great service the food was fantastic!
Exceptionally good service and food
From the time we entered this restaurant we were treated with courtesy and received excellent service from start to finish. The decor and ambience are wonderful. The food was truly exceptional perfectly cooked to order, beautifully presented and very tasty. There is an excellent choice in respect of all courses and gluten free and vegetarian guests are well catered for with the menu clearly marked. Based on the quality of the food this restaurant is very good value and I am looking forward very much to returning when next in the area.
